Playback Adjustments
Adjustments available
Section titled “Adjustments available”
There are two adjustments available.
Playback Offset
Section titled “Playback Offset”The Playback Offset is a global adjustment. Adjusting will delay or advance when commands are sent to your device.
Helpful when accounting for real world lag between what you see on a screen and when your device reflects the change.
Slider Range
Section titled “Slider Range”The second adjustment is the Slider Range. It is scoped per device. Each device will have its own slider range.
How does it work?
Section titled “How does it work?”The Handy: Users of The Handy may be familiar with adjusting slider range from HandyVerse. It only makes sense for FunPlayer to respect this. FunPlayer will retrieve slider range from The Handy API and updates will be sent to the API, just as HandyVerse does.
All other devices: FunPlayer will remember the slider range, EXCEPT for devices added via Intiface (because Intiface is private by design, we cannot reliably identify a device between sessions, thus we cannot persist values for a given device). When the command is sent to the device, FunPlayer will use linear interpolation to “scale” to your preferred range.
Hotkeys
Section titled “Hotkeys”A hotkey is configurable to easily open the Playback Adjustments panel. It is available in the Hotkeys tab in Settings.
