Consumer Hardware

• The Handy (by OhDoki AS) – A “mainstream” stroker with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Hobby / Maker Devices

• Tempest MAx popularized open-source machines like the OSR2, SSR1, and SR6. These devices typically connect via USB, tho Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is possible and make use of ESP32 or Arduino-class controllers.
• These devices follow the T-Code protocol (versions 0.2 and 0.3). Builders pick their own enclosures, motors, and firmware.

Bridging Software

• Buttplug – An open standard for intimate hardware. It provides a consistent API for developers to use across hundreds of devices.
• Intiface® Central – Buttplug’s GUI app. It exposes a WebSocket server FunPlayer connects to, in charge of sending commands to the connected device.

Script Formats

• Funscript – JSON-based stroke timelines invented by FunJack. The format has wide adoption in our industry.

Media Players

• Built-in Player – Uses the built-in Apple video player.
